Writing the cover letter

Rédaction de votre CV dans le domaine des TIC - Kinessor

After finding a job offer that interests you, now comes the time to write your cover letter.
This letter allows you to introduce yourself to the person responsible for hiring in a customized manner depending on the job for which you are applying. It will reflect your job and business skills, your abilities and personal qualities, and your motivation.
Be honest in your cover letter and avoid embellishing reality. Companies can confirm what you wrote in your cover letter. Any document submitted to employers should be revised (syntax, level of writing, fonts, etc.)

The cover letter (maximum of one page), should contain the following information:

  • Date
  • Name and address of the company
  • Purpose of the letter (title of post applied for or spontaneous applications)
  • Introduction
  • Key accomplishments and examples related to employment
  • List of skills, qualifications and motivations for the position
  • Interview Suggestion
  • Form of politeness
  • Signature and personal details

Keep a copy of the cover letter and curriculum vitae that you send to the responsible person. Also, keep a copy of the advertised job offer for future reference if you are being interviewed.
